While it is simple, its also nothing special. Its simple enough to be free or 99¢. Definitely doesnt stand out. I do like the playback feature, however. Its simply "ok".

I think this is by far the best sketch app in the App Store. Retina display is great. No complaints whatsoever.

Cool drawing app with simple controls: 30 colors, 10 sizes of expressive pen and nice marker wash with blend mode that lets you to undercolor your washes. This is one of the fastest. Nice for speedy expression. + no annoying sliders or color wheels that keep you from getting the same results next time + simple tap with two fingers to return zoom to normal + gestures to show/hide me u and undo + draw on photo or use to trace + export to Camera Roll, Twitter or email as JPG or PNG with transparent background + "Play" replays drawing of your sketch - drawing at larger pen sizes can be slow - no video export of Play mode

I have almost of the the sketching and painting apps and they all have their strengths and weaknesses. Sketchtime however, does one thing and does it very, very well. Unlike Paper, Sketchtime has an all-important slider to control brush and marker widths. The line quality is exquisite. With the addition of more colors, this is my go-to Sketch app. Simple, easy to use, and the results are fantastic. Whether you are an artist, designer, student, adman, doodler or whatever, this app you will never regret purchasing and it is worth every single penny. Unfortunately, Ive paid more for apps that do a lot less and the quality is substandard. This $1.99 app outperforms some of the Mac software I own. All of Hansols apps are stable, well-designed, and thought out. I used ArtTree and TypeDrawing and really enjoyed incorporating them in my work but SketchTime is the crown jewel of sketch apps. Ive been waiting for this update and the was well worth the wait. Thank you Hansol! This app is one I use every single day and is in my dock both on my iPad and iPhone. Love the new three finger gestures too! Bravo.

I tried so many other apps but this is the best one for quick ideation sketches. I use other full-on drawing/painting apps for renderings but the work flow is too slow for quick ideation sketches. Handwriting notebook apps are also awesome for creative note taking with lots of thumbnail sketches, but none of them are good enough for real sketching. SketchTime hits the sweet spot by giving me the perfect combination of work flow speed and pen quality. Interface is so simple, intuitive and thoughtful for quick work flow. Pens and markers flow fast and smooth, and options for pen sizes and colors are really good. Having "multiply" and "screen" options for markers are really nice touch of thoughtfulness. There is still some room for improvement such as slightly glitchy palm rest and potentially limiting color palette, but I can easily work around those for now, and the app still gives far better quality and efficiency than any other apps which are two most important things in my work. Look forward to future updates to make this app even better!! Oh, Id like Dropbox and Evernote integration in a future.

Please take out the recording feature or add the option to turn it off. I notice that it gets slow to save/load on very complex drawings. This is obviously because of the fact that everything gets recorded. You cant seem to do anything with the recordings anyway so what is the point of having a half baked feature?

Great sketching app but maybe a customizable color palate and a layering feature? Thanks for the awesome app!

I love this app, it deserves to be in the top 25. I downloaded like 20 sketching/drawing apps before finding this one, it was exactly what I was looking for.

I really love this app! I use it a lot but can you add one thing? I just want to have a fill in color button.

This app still looks like iOS 6 crap to me. Wheres the flat design? New icon? Very dissapointed.

I love this app! Its super easy to use and has a nice smooth look to it. One suggestion is that you guys should put layers in. It makes everything so much easier. So please fulfill my request and I will undoubtedly rate it 5 stars. :)

I love this app. It works great. I take photographs of my projects, use sketch time to sketch them and then sketch in changes to get an idea of the finished project. I would like to be able to video the drawing which would be great for movie titles.

I love being able to trace a photo and then watch it play back. If there were a way to export the playback as a video file, that would be perfect! Thank you for creating this app!

Very responsive, fast, gets the job done

Really like how easy it is to use the program. I also like that most tools are easy to get to. Two things I would like are: 1. A pencil so you would have a softer tool than just the pen. 2. 4 or 5 favorite colors that could be at the bottom of the screen like the pen sizes. In the main color pallet you could pick and change your favorites, then you would not have to leave the main screen.

Its a really nice app to use, because of the tasteful yet no-nonsense design, and the ease of functionality. Its not a full-fledged paint shop app, but this is a strength because it eliminates all distractions. You have only the necessities, and your creativity is thus liberated. Lastly, to the developers, I preferred the previous icon and interface design. The paper-on-wood look was so zen. The flat black-on-white its been replaced by is a bit jarring by comparison.

This isnt as good as I had hoped it would be. It has the advantage of adding photos so you can trace them and it allows you to adjust pen sizes, but thats about it. The pen control is flimsy at best, and it doesnt give you many options for drawing tools. There are other apps that do a lot better job and are worth your money.
